The stock prices shown here are laid out with CSS Flexbox. The JavaScript code simply picks a random Flexbox item, makes a random adjustment to the stock price, then displays the new price as well as the percentage change since the initial price.

Internet Explorer provides great performance because we allow for individual elements in a large collection (e.g. HTML Tables, CSS Grid, CSS Flexbox) to be updated without affecting all other elements. Note that you can increase the number of stock elements shown in the demo and IE's performance gap with other browsers only increases! This is because the more elements other browsers add, the more updates they have to do, whereas IE only has to update specific elements, no matter how many total elements there are in the collection.
